About

Helping You Do Life — the ADHD-Friendly Way

Overview – Who I Am

Hi, I’m Christie. I am an ADHD Coach and Professional Organiser based in Bicester. I offer in-person sessions designed to unlock your brain’s potential. My business name, ADHD-Friendly, reflects my mission: to make ADHD coaching truly accessible by combining affordable pricing, qualified expertise, and formats that actually suit the ADHD brain.

I offer one-on-one coaching, group coaching, workshops, and talks. There are also mix-and-match packages. You can combine ADHD coaching with professional organising sessions.

Personal Story & Values

I self-identify as having ADHD. During my formative years and adolescence, I had to create my own workarounds to succeed — often without guidance. I don’t want others to have to muddle through the way I did.

My son is suspected neurodivergent, and since 2018 I’ve worked in a predominantly neurodivergent team. In 2023,reated and now serve as a Neurodiversity Champion at The University of Oxford.

Every person with ADHD deserves more than generic strategies. They deserve understanding. They deserve flexibility. They need tools that work in real life.

Why Choose Me

After applying for a grant and pitching my vision to housing association A2Dominion, I was awarded funding to make my vision reality. My pitch was built on three pillars:

  1. More in-person sessions — because most ADHD coaching is online, and Zoom fatigue is real.
  2. Accessible pricing — with sliding-scale fees so cost doesn’t block progress.
  3. Accredited and qualified coaching — many people miss out on the benefits of coaching when it’s costly. They also miss out when it’s unaccredited or limited to online formats. My aim is to change that. I will combine qualifications with in-person accessibility.

I also make my sessions ADHD-friendly with movement-friendly spaces, fidget tools, and Access to Work guidance. And I give back locally, donating a portion of my earnings to Bicester Autism/ADHD.

Coaching Philosophy

My approach is practical, tailored, and progress-focused. I track your progress so you see real change, not just good intentions. Every strategy is designed for how your brain works best. It accommodates shorter bursts of focus, visual reminders, or flexible pacing.

Specialties & Solutions

I specialise in:

  • Time management and planning – We’ll break big, intimidating tasks into small, doable steps. Together, we’ll use tools, visual cues, and structured routines. These help in keeping you on track. This isn’t because you “should,” but because they align with how your brain operates.
  • Goal setting and follow-through – We’ll set goals that feel real, relevant, and inspiring. We incorporate built-in accountability so you can see your progress. This lets you celebrate the wins, no matter how small.
  • Stress reduction and burnout prevention – Life isn’t meant to be lived in survival mode. We’ll put simple systems and boundaries in place that protect your time, your energy, and your peace of mind.
  • Executive functioning skills – We will focus on remembering what’s next and prioritising what matters most. We’ll strengthen the core skills that make daily life smoother. We use strategies that fit your brain — not fight it.
  • ADHD-friendly home organising – Together, we’ll create spaces and systems that are functional and calming. They will be easy to keep up. This way, you spend less time feeling overwhelmed and more time living in flow.
